Logistics Coordinator/ Manager Job brief We are looking for a Logistics Manager for Book Publishing Industry to be responsible for the overall supply chain management. Logistics Manager responsibilities include organizing and monitoring storage and distribution and organizing transportation of Books to the customer. Logistics Manager responsibilities include:
- Planning and managing logistics, warehouse, transportation and customer services
- Directing, optimizing and coordinating full order cycle
- Planning of arrivals and dispatches according to orders.
- Coordination with customers for orders.
- Maintain Inward outward inventory.
- Mange costing in Logistics process on each level.
- Provide all documents to buyer as per buyer requirement.
- Coordinate with the logistics/agents for negotiating the better rates of shipment.
- Maintain all Pre shipments & Post shipment Documents related to export and Domestic.
- Planning of Dispatches and transportation movement on Domestic level as well as International.
- Proven working experience as a Logistics Manager
- Record of successful distribution and logistics management
- Demonstrable ability to lead and manage staff
- Proficient in standard logistics software
- Excellent analytical, problem solving and organizational skills
- Ability to work independently and handle multiple projects.
- You will work closely with internal and external stakeholders to ensure on time receipt and delivery of print products.
- Ensuring that systems and procedures are followed, and high peak seasonal capacity is sufficient to meet our on-time shipping requirements.
- They plan routes to reduce costs while processing shipments to achieve budget goals efficiently.
