about the role Management of assigned vendors/partners to ensure: - understanding of, and contribution to control of, vendor/partner costs affecting Orange Business Operations budget (operational support, implementation and incubation projects, professional services, training & certification, ) - alignment of vendor and partner commitments with Orange Business needs during Incubation, Integration, Design, Deployment and Operational Support phases - efficient process interlocks and governance - structured performance assessment and installed base reporting Understand Orange Business requirements through liaison with Partnership Office, Product Management/Marketing, Engineering, Enterprise Services and Integration BUs and to share best practices and align vendor management approach as appropriate. key accountabilities key result / decision areas (outcomes) Vendor Selection Decision making In partnership with the Business Units and with Sourcing, use structured techniques to contribute to and influence vendor selection. This ensures that we select the right partners from Orange Business Operations perspective. An important consideration is cost. Vendor Governance In partnership with Business Units, Sourcing and the Partnership Office, establish and contribute to Vendor Governance. Typical contributions include Operations costs incurred from the assigned vendor, product and customer evolution, performance reviews, certifications. Contribute to Vendor Management best practices A set of procedures, templates and checklists to ensure that Orange Business Operations approach to vendor management is structured, objective, measurable and re-usable. This facilitates best practices from initial vendor selection through governance, performance evaluation and continuous improvement. It covers: vendor assessment during the RFP and Incubation phase Service Descriptions and SLAs Operational Interlocks, Escalation matrices and procedures Performance Reporting, leading SIPs and Root Cause Analyses Ownership of Service Description & SLAs The Senior Vendor Manager must understand both the Orange offer and the proposed operational model to ensure that the Service Description elements of any Framework Agreement are agreed and can be re-used for any/all signed business. This maximises our efficiency and customer satisfaction. Operational collaboration Constant liaison with Operational teams to ensure that: issues are addressed in a timely manner, trends are identified product evolution and developments are shared training and certification issues are addressed Lead vendor performance/service reviews: compare vendor performance with commitments represent Orange Business\' interests in vendor\'s service improvement initiatives review costs including performance rebates/penalties Training & Certification: with the Partnership and Certification Office, ensure that operational line management understand and agree training and certification requirements Contribute to quarterly/bi-annual business reviews in collaboration with the Partnership Office and Marketing Business Units. Topics include vendor costs. about you knowledge and abilities Familiar with Orange Business organisational and Operations structure Familiar with Orange Business offers and offer management (Expresso Portal). Negotiation skills (at senior management level), business acumen, presentation/communication skills. Basic understanding of Orange Business cost structures, use of product codes, budget allocation. Ability to produce clear, structured business documentation (e.g. Service Description,Interlock). Analytical skills. Project Management techniques. Proficient with a Service Management methodology (preferably ITIL). education, qualifications, and certifications First degree in business, technology or science. Fluent in English a command of French is an advantage ITIL certification is an advantage Project Management certification is an advantage Experience Minimum of 10 years\' related work experience in the telecom or IT industry.
