JOB DESCRIPTION of Assistant Manager II / Deputy Manager I

Job Title: Assistant Manager II / Deputy Manager I

Department: Operations - Fixed Income and Money Market - PUNE

Reports to: Senior Manager / Dy Vice President

Experience: Preferably 2-3 years experience
in Financial Market preferably relating to
Fixed Income & Money Market

Required Qualification: Minimum Graduation from any discipline.

Preferred Qualification:

Post graduate Qualification / Course in finance / financial markets / IT relating to financial market
Skill, Knowledge & Trainings: Wholesale debt / money market knowledge, treasury back office experience and additional orientation towards use of Information Technology in financial market and experience in Testing of financial software will be preferred

Job Purpose:

This is the entry / above entry level position in the department and will handle day to day operations. It would include all activities pertaining to GSEC, money market settlement, collateral management, liquidity management, investment and RBI retail Direct operations. The incumbent based on flair for technology may be involved in internal UATs and software developments.

Area of Operations Key Responsibility

The incumbent being able to handle / manager day to day operations relating to

• Collateral management
• Funds Settlement function
• RBI Retail Direct - primary and secondary market operations
• User Acceptance Testing of internal and external systems
• Handling and managing day to day activities in Department
• Handle internal, regulatory compliance requirement
• Participate in User Acceptance Testing after fair level of expertise
• Handle RBI retail Direct operations involving retail activities and UATs thereof

Any Other Requirement: Incumbent should be ready to work in staggered hours and re-locate to other offices as and when required on a need based / permanent basis.
