Your Role and Responsibilities
The IBM Office of the Chief Information Officer (CIO), within the QuoteToCash (QTC) Central Functions tribe is seeking an OpenText StreamServe (SS) Application and System Administrator. The SS technology is used to provide document management archive functionality integrated with IBM financially significant SAP based applications.
In the role, the person selected will be responsible for supporting the xECM product and xECM project delivery across their SAP and non-SAP landscape. The position will report to the squad’s Product Owner (PO) and will provide support, administration, and delivery of xECM capabilities for OpenText SAP xECM end-to-end solutions.

The position entails regular collaboration with stakeholders, portfolio and others in a multidisciplinary team. The responsibilities include understanding and defining application requirements, solution implementation, deployment and maintaining solution components. As the SS System administrator, you will be responsible for installation, maintenance and operational support of the SS product components.

The successful candidate will possess strong problem-solving skills while being able work independently to achieve timely results while working collaboratively on an agile product team. Must also possess a strong customer orientation along with a delivery execution mindset.

In this role you will:

• Be a member of a multidisciplined squad that provides shared services supporting SS Application and System support for different IBM business areas.
• Effectively and efficiently process portfolio requests (i.e. issues and enhancements)
• Perform requirements discovery and solution implementation and support
• Investigate and resolve issues
• Participate in the planning and communicating of enhancement and updates/patches required to secure and maintain operational excellence
• Participate, practice agile techniques and methodologies of an agile product team
• Seek continuous improvement, innovation/automation to increasing delivery velocity
• Analyze impacts and balance proposed solutions across the business to address business and technical challenges
• Provide user and operational support for all SS application and system components
• Demonstrate organizational and communication skills, especially with portfolio and other support squads
• Bring a passionate work ethic, and strong eagerness to learn

Required Technical and Professional Expertise

• Strong knowledge OpenText StreamServe( Document Presentment) 5.6.2 or above
• Knowledge in OpenText StreamServe administration, Installations, Migration, configuration and setting up connectivity between components
• Knowledge and experience with a UNIX environment (Linux, Ubuntu, and/or AIX) running Stream Serv
• Strong problem solving and analytical skills, demonstrating attention to details and ability to convert abstract processes into system requirements
• Demonstrated experience to independently learn and become the expert on new technologies and applications
• Strong communication skills and proven ability to effective interact with technical and non-technical staff and management
• At least 1 year of experience in IT System Administration of Stream Serve, Product Installation, configuration, life cycle activities (i.e. patches, upgrades, etc.) and maintenance projects
