OpenNMS Solution Architect
This role has been designated as ‘Edge’, which means you will primarily work outside of an HPE office. :

Role Applies developed subject matter knowledge to provide solution for common and complex business requirements. Works on problems of diverse complexity and scope. Exercises independent judgment and practices for the solution. Ability to handle most unique situations Applies advanced subject matter knowledge to solve complex business requirements. Frequently contributes to the development of new ideas and methods. Works on complex problems where analysis of situations or data requires an in-depth evaluation of multiple factors. Leads and/or provides expertise to functional project teams and may participate in cross-functional initiatives. Frequently represents the organization to external customers/clients. Provides mentoring and guidance to lower level employees. Responsibilities:

• Responsible for verifying and implementing the detailed technical design solution to the problem as identified by the Project Manager.
• Responsible for providing a detailed technical design
• Leads technical assessment and delivery of specific technical solutions to the customer.
• Coordinates implementation of new installations, designs, and migrations for technology solutions in Telecom assurance
• Collects and determines data from appropriate sources to assist in determining customer needs and requirements.
• Responds to requests for technical information from customers.
• Develops customer technology solutions using various industry products and technologies.
• Engages in technical problem solving across multiple technologies; often needs to develop new methods to apply to the situation.

Education and Experience Required:

• Bachelor degree in engineering or equivalent
• 12 to 15 years of experience in telecom domain with minimum 5 years relevant experience in Assurance solution delivery

Knowledge and Skills:

• Has sufficient depth and breadth of technical knowledge in Telecom Network and protocols
• Must have played architect role in Fault management solution
• Good exposure to OpenNMS
• Must have system integration skills in Assurance
• Has led team in the delivery of multiple deliverables across multiple technologies.
• HPE TeMIP skilled resources will have added advantage.
