- Maintain accurate records of incoming inventory, preventing stockouts or overstock situations, and ensuring products are readily available for smooth production.
- Identify, Segregate Non-Moving and Rejected materials.
- Managing monthly inventory record with ageing and prepare action plan.
- Periodic audits with accuracy and publishing reports as per business needs.
- Develop systems to meet customer & Grade specific requirements desired by customer.
- Ensure uploading of materials in line vendors
- Evaluate and enhance inbound logistics processes to improve efficiency, reduce costs, and streamline operations Operational excellence: Drive Operational excellence tools across warehouse and lead projects like ISO certifications, 5S, etc.
- Responsible for complete documentation for inbound materials.
- Ensure 100% identification of every material.
- Address and resolve any issues that may arise during the inbound warehouse process, including discrepancies, customs-related matters, or operational challenges.
- Verify the shipment against the purchase order and documentation.
- Communicate the discrepancy to the supplier or carrier.
- Record the issue and any potential impact on inventory or production.
- Coordinate with the procurement department to reconcile the discrepancy
- Identify the root cause of the delay, whether it\'s due to vendor issues, transportation problems, or external factors.
- Communicate with relevant parties, including vendors to expedite shipping or find alternative solutions.
- Develop a robust system to avoid damages, delays and discrepancies
- Ensure proper documentation and adhere to health and safety regulations and promote a culture of safety within the warehouse
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all incoming shipments, including relevant documentation, such as packing lists and purchase orders.
- Update inventory management systems to reflect stock levels and track serial or lot numbers.
- To ensure effective implementation of IMS (Integrated Management System, Operational Excellence and Sustainability Systems for achieving Business Excellence.
Qualifications:
Bachelor Of Commerce (Honours),Master Of Commerce,MBA
Minimum Experience Level:
3-9 Years
