: Key Responsibilities:
Portfolio Management
Handle delinquent two-wheeler loan accounts in the X bucket (e.g., 90+ DPD / legal / recovery stage).
Analyze delinquency trends, track recovery performance, and ensure achievement of monthly and quarterly recovery targets.
Prioritize high-value and chronic default cases for focused action.
Collection & Recovery
Execute recovery strategies to reduce flow to higher delinquency buckets.
Ensure regular follow-up with customers through field visits, tele-calling, and legal actions as required.
Coordinate with repossession and auction teams for recovery of dues through vehicle seizure and sale.
Maintain proper documentation for every collection activity and ensure system updates are timely and accurate.
Agency & Field Team Management
Manage and monitor collection agencies / recovery agents / field executives for timely performance.
Train and guide agency staff on compliance, soft skills, and ethical recovery practices.
Ensure adherence to company and regulatory norms (RBI / Fair Practice Code).
Legal & Compliance
Coordinate with legal teams for issuance of notices (e.g., demand, arbitration, Section 138, etc.) and follow up on legal recoveries.
Ensure compliance with all statutory and organizational guidelines during collection and repossession processes.
Reporting & Analysis
Prepare daily / weekly / monthly MIS reports on collection efficiency, recovery trends, and agency performance.
Provide feedback to credit and policy teams on field-level insights and customer behavior. Key Skills & Competencies:
Strong knowledge of retail asset collection processes, especially for two-wheeler loans.
Ability to handle hard bucket (X bucket) accounts with tact and firmness.
Excellent negotiation and persuasion skills.
Good understanding of legal and repossession processes.
Proficiency in MS Excel, MIS, and collection management systems.
Team management and coordination skills. Qualifications & Experience:
Education: Graduate / Postgraduate in any discipline (MBA preferred).
Experience: 5-8 years of experience in collections, with at least 2-3 years handling X bucket / recovery stage accounts in auto or two-wheeler loans.
Languages: Proficiency in local language and English. Performance Metrics (KPIs):
Recovery % from X bucket accounts.
Reduction in NPA / loss provisioning.
Agency performance efficiency.
Legal case resolution rate.
Compliance adherence and zero audit issues.
