: Identify potential clients, prospect new accounts, and build strong, long-term relationships with buyers (on-premise/off-premise).
Product Promotion
: Present new products, features, and brand portfolios, conduct tastings/demonstrations, and ensure prominent product placement/displays in stores.
Account Management
: Manage existing accounts, place orders, coordinate with logistics for timely delivery, and ensure stock rotation.
Strategy & Reporting
: Develop and execute sales plans, analyze market trends, report sales activities and results to management, and meet sales quotas.
Training & Compliance
: Train retail staff on product knowledge, ensure all sales activities comply with state and local alcohol laws, and promote responsible sales.
Typical Duties
Visiting bars, restaurants, liquor stores, and hotels in a designated territory.
Negotiating contracts, pricing, and terms with buyers.
Attending trade shows and industry events.
Essential Skills & Qualifications
Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
Deep product knowledge and understanding of industry regulations.
Excellent time management, organization, and territory management.
Proven sales track record, often in FMCG, spirits, or luxury goods.
