Job Description

BOLD is seeking for WordPress Architect to make intuitive high-level decisions for software development. You will see the \xe2\x80\x9cbig picture\xe2\x80\x9d and create architectural approaches for WordPress products and implementation to guide the development team. The role is to design, build, and maintain scalable, secure, and high-performance WordPress solutions that meet our business needs.JOB DESCRIPTIONWHAT YOU\'LL DO

• Design and implement WordPress architecture, including themes, templates, plugins, blades, taxonomies, and APIs.
• Analyze the requirements and specifications of our WordPress projects and provide technical guidance and solutions.
• Collaborate with other developers, designers, and stakeholders to deliver high-quality WordPress products.
• Define all aspects of development from appropriate technology and workflow to coding standards.
• Conduct team meetings with product team and other key project team members to go over schedules and operational milestones.
• Meet aggressive deadlines while working under pressure, dedication to building high-quality deliverables while being thorough in all aspects of the development lifecycle
• Should possess strong professional expertise and management skills with the ability to make decisions.
• Ensure highest level of technical quality, security, scalability, interoperability and stability in all products that are developed.
• Experience working with complex, high-transactional products is highly desirable.

WHAT YOU\'LL NEED

• Should have hands on experience in WordPress, templates, Static site Generators (SSG), CDN implementation, caching, plugins strategy
• Build a highly scalable product right from scratch
• Should be well versed with PHP, HTML, CSS, MYSQL, Javascript, Jquery and APIs.
• Has knowledge of any one of Git, BitBucket, SVN, etc. code management repositories
• Experience in Customization of themes and plugins & E-Commerce websites
• Should have good understanding on Search Engine Optimization (SEO).
• Should have worked on Web Analytics tools like GA/Segment etc and GSC.
• Should have experience in web performance optimization
• Should have good understanding of Core Web Vitals (CWV) and optimize them.
• Excellent experience in the web environment.
• Excellent problem solving and troubleshooting skills - can drive to root cause and solution to complex problem

WHAT\'S GOOD TO HAVE

• Experience on SEO tools, Page speed insights, Lighthouse, Debugbear etc.
• Knowledge of browser rendering process, browser events and optimization.
• Knowledge of browser performance profiler.
• Providing technical leadership and support to development teams
• Strong analytical, problem-solving and conceptual skills.
• Good interpersonal and communication skills.
• A commitment to quality and a thorough approach to the work.
• Ability to work well within a team or alone.
