  • Improve network availability and decrease mean time to repair (MTTR) for all issues
  • Working with the Engineering and Planning teams to develop their skills on current and new technologies
  • Training members at all levels in NOC
  • Developing Methods and Procedures to assist NOC team members in resolving network issues.
  • Creating, testing, and implementing tools that increase productivity, efficiency, and effectiveness of Network Operations.
  • Analysing network data, outage reports, and trouble tickets to identify problems and trends.
  • Train NOC team members on new technologies /accounts
  • Perform quality audits on tickets worked on by NOC team members and provide feedback on the missing technical troubleshooting
  • Have weekly calls and enhance technical skills of NOC team members
  • Analyse and provide inputs during escalations and work on SIP if any
  • Work on tickets when ticket volume is high and guide the NOC team members during troubleshooting.
Required Technical and Professional Expertise
  • 3+ years related experience in NOC profile as SME or L2 supprt Engineer, in an organisation handling global customers.
  • Project management skill.
  • Negotiations skill.
  • Conflict management.
  • Must be an effective communicator, both in verbal and written English.
  • Ability to multi task and manage multiple priorities at the same time.
  • Understand the current and trends of networking technologies.
  • Providing direction and mentoring to others.
  • Related industry standard technical certification preferred.
  • Global time zone conscious. Must be willing to work in shifts 24*7.
Preferred Technical and Professional Experience
  • CCNA/ CCNP/ JNCIA/ Any Firewall certification
  • Education Requirements:
  • BTech Degree in a technical discipline or equivalent experience ( Except Civil & Mechanical Engineer)
  • Preferred Skills:
  • Significant Experience of Network Topologies/ protocols
  • Significant knowldege of all major Network Vendors ( Cisco, Juniper, Firewall, VPN, F5, Loadbalancers, etc.)
  • Router and Switch Configuration
  • Knowldege on Firewall, any vendor
  • Knowledge on NSX Devices
  • Knowledge of writing scripts using Python/ Shell scripting
  • Characteristics:
  • Able to manage team of >10 members. Experience in same would be preferred
  • Customer focussed
  • Able to drive Consistent delivery and performace for team
  • Positive outlook, well versed in English
