Work Model: On-Site/Office Description Join GlobalLogic, to be a valid part of the team working on a huge software project for the world-class company providing M2M / IoT 4G/5G modules e.g. to the automotive, healthcare and logistics industries. Through our engagement, we contribute to our customer in developing the end-user modules\' firmware, implementing new features, maintaining compatibility with the newest telecommunication and industry standards, as well as performing analysis and estimations of the customer requirements. Requirements Good to have skills: Candidate should have product/System testing experience of end products Knowledge in GPON will be an added advantage Exposure to SIP / DLNA protocols on Home Gateway products Scripting experience in automating the test cases and use of automation frame work will be good to have skills Hands on experience on testing various system level and GUI Testing on End devices Prior knowledge in working and debugging android based Apps Exposure to bug tracking system, various test tools like Wireshark, Iperf, Omnipeek, & Ixia will be helpful Job Responsibilities Test Engineer - WLAN, L2 and L3 Protocol Testing and Networking Experience : 3 to 6 Years in Networking technologies Must have: Hands on experience in testing Linux based Home Gateway or similar products and well versed in Linux OS and commands WLAN feature testing and knowledge in 802.11 protocols, Different Authentication techniques in Wireless, functional and throughput testing of WLAN solutions Hands-on experience in testing Routing protocols like RIP along with different networking protocols ARP, DHCP, IGMP, TR-069, TR143, IPv4, IPv6, FTP, HTTP, HTTPS, VLAN, VPN, Firewall, port forwarding, UDP, TCP for Home Gateway products Should have good debugging and trouble shooting skills, usage of protocol analyzer like Wireshark to debug are must Experience in test topology design, test setup bring up, test plan development, test reporting and bug reporting are must We Offer Exciting Projects: We focus on industries like High-Tech, communication, media, healthcare, retail and telecom.
