Key Responsibilities:

Monitor, analyze, and respond to network security incidents and alerts. Configure and manage firewalls, IDS/IPS, VPNs, and other security appliances. Perform regular vulnerability scans and assist in remediation efforts. Investigate and resolve escalated security issues from L1 support. Maintain and update security policies, procedures, and documentation. Assist in the implementation of security solutions and technologies. Conduct root cause analysis of security breaches and recommend preventive measures. Collaborate with IT and DevOps teams to ensure secure network architecture. Participate in security audits and compliance assessments (e.g., ISO, PCI-DSS). Stay updated with the latest security threats, trends, and technologies. Hands on Cisco Switching / Routing / Cisco-Meraki / Cisco Firewalls / Sophos Firewall / Sophos Endpoint

Required Skills & Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or related field. 3-5 years of experience in network security or IT security roles. Strong knowledge of TCP/IP, routing, switching, and network protocols. Experience with security tools like Palo Alto, Fortinet, Cisco ASA, Check Point, etc. Familiarity with SIEM platforms (e.g., Splunk, QRadar, LogRhythm). Understanding of threat intelligence, malware analysis, and incident response. Certifications such as

CCNA Security

,

CompTIA Security+

,

CEH

, or

CISSP

(preferred). Good analytical and problem-solving skills. Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
