  • Network Security administrator with extensive experience Juniper Firewall.
  • You'll work with client to understand the requirements and provide required support on network platform and suggest required changes as per industry standard and implement improvements in the client environments and provide support.
  • Attend / React on the alerts of up/Down status of Network devices such Switches, Distributed Router, and other associated network edge devices which would be configured.
  • Work on incident or problem ticket after recognition of the problem and notify Client according to a mutually agreed escalation process.
  • Respond to any alarms received from the in-scope devices.
  • Firewall Policy monitoring, Update, Maintain and fine tuning
  • Periodic back up of the configuration
  • Provide the last archived configuration to assist with Restore in the event of configuration loss (including during any outage or disaster) or changes or performance issues;
  • Upgrade firmware, security patches and latest software upgrades as per client policy
  • Perform device configuration management, back up and logging.
  • Maintain logical network diagrams and architecture documentation
  • Escalate security incidents via e-mail, as appropriate.
  • Supporting, management, operation & monitoring of OpenSSL and OpenVPN and access and authorization system.
  • Contact product support for network devices. For example, Cisco TAC, Juniper TAC, Riverbed, Checkpoint when required.
  • Drive and produce a Root Cause Analysis (RCA) report
  • Provide the last archived configuration to assist with Restore in the event of configuration loss (including during any outage or disaster) or changes or performance issues.
  • Perform device configuration management.
  • Perform device configuration management, back up and logging.
  • Maintain logical network diagrams and architecture documentation received from Client as part of service take over;
  • Implement logical changes on LAN – WAN devices, such as port allocation, vlan, vref, implementing routing protocols such as bgp, ebgp etc.
  • Resolve and remediate incidents related to devices in scope.
  • ProVide 3rd party vendor coordination (i.e., break-fix)
  • Monitoring network connectivity including leased line connections
  • Follow the compliance and security guideline and to make sure compliance level is as per bank compliance expectation. Follow-up and do all needed coordination to achieve this.
  • Implement logical changes on LAN, such as port allocation, vlan, vrf etc.
  • Implementing routing protocols.
  • Resolve and remediate incidents related to devices in scope;
  • Configure the devices and make changes as required work on incident or problem ticket after recognition of the problem and notify client according to a mutually agreed escalation process.
  • Contact product support for Security devices i.e. OEM TAC
  • Follow the compliance and security guideline and to make sure compliance level is as per bank compliance expectation. Follow-up and do all needed coordination to achieve this for security components.
  • Perform software updates as per directions and plan of action received from client team.
  • Perform policy/configuration changes to the managed services/products as per the SOP shared by client.
Required Technical and Professional Expertise
  • Experience on Network Routing, Switching, Firewall.
  • Working experience on firewall Policy implementation for Juniper Firewall is must.
  • Working knowledge of infrastructure-layer security design patterns, technologies, and products.
  • Knowledge and working experience on Ansible for implementing automation.
  • Must have a clear knowledge of ITIL based service delivery.
  • Strong communications skill and multiple stakeholder management.
Preferred Technical and Professional Experience
  • ITIL V3 to Intermediate level.
  • You love collaborative environments that use agile methodologies to encourage creative design thinking and find innovative ways to develop with cutting edge technologies.
  • Ambitious individual who can work under their own direction towards agreed targets/goals and with creative approach to work.
  • Intuitive individual with an ability to manage change and proven time management.
  • Proven interpersonal skills while contributing to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
  • Up-to-date technical knowledge by attending educational workshops, reviewing publications.
  • Minimum 5 Years of Work Experience with at least 3 years of relevant experience.
  • Bachelor's Degree / Diploma Engineering.
  • Ready to provide 24X7 Support.
  • Good verbal and written communication Skills in English.
