Job Description


The function Network Management is a global function within Digital & Platform Services (DPS) of the Corporate & Investment Bank (CIB) responsible for managing J.P. Morgan\'s network of Agent Banks and Financial Market Infrastructures (FMI) to meet the firm\'s requirements for oversight of cash and securities services for principal and client activities in over 100 markets. The network of providers includes banks, sub custodians, payment systems, central counterparties, securities depositories and cheque clearing systems. Network Management has a global presence in key locations to provide market coverage and is comprised of several teams including: Securities & Cash Network Management, Network Client Consulting (NCC), Network Performance Management and Network Management Oversight. The Process A key part of Network Management\'s strategy is to reduce the Agent Bank expense incurred by the firm. The Network Pricing Analytics team is accountable for the pricing analysis and record keeping of securities and cash agent bank cost saves. This role requires engagement with multiple stakeholders within Network Management, Operations and in the Lines of Business. Job Summary: The Pricing Analytics VP will be responsible for: Leading a team accountable for supporting the regional Network Managers across various activities including: Conduct comparative pricing analysis to validate save opportunities and provide decision support commentary to Network Managers Record keeping of pricing analysis at different stages from audit perspective and ensure proper documentation of evidence for realized saves Manage saves tracker dashboard content, monitor the progression of saves pipeline opportunities Working with key stakeholders to enhance / develop tools for process & data quality improvement Job Responsibilities Lead and ensure delivery by team as per agreed timelines and quality. Leading critical and complex comparative pricing analysis to estimate \'cost save\' opportunities and providing commentary to support decision making Ensure that an accurate record of saves is maintained at any given point of time, along with relevant documentation. Manage the book of work and ensure there is constant dialogue with the regional leads on the same with a focus on contribution towards strategic objectives for Network Management Proactively leveraging data insights and thematic analysis for Agent spend for data quality & support to Network Managers. Responding promptly and effectively to any market specific enquiries and escalations received from Network Managers Maintaining strong working relationships with all stakeholders with Network Management. Regular connects with the regional stakeholders, seeking feedback and ensuring training requirements are identified for individual team members as appropriate Participate in and contribute to committees and governance forums as required. Contribute to special projects and initiatives as required High focus on Controls and Governance process & reporting. Support audit requirements as required Training and upskilling a team to be self-sufficient, be analytical and have critical thinking in order to meet business demands and be a trusted partner. Managing the BAU book of work and development of the individual team members. Manage a centralized pricing analysis template for data consistency, improved efficiencies and overall integrity by accuracy, consistency and time to market of reporting to stakeholders. Monitoring pricing related data quality through collaboration with the invoice processing teams to interpret and navigate data nuances, perform root cause analysis and introduce robust controls. Focused on standardization of key data elements for pricing related data cataloguing. Required Qualifications Strong data analysis skills including proficiency with Microsoft Excel along with familiarity with data visualization and intelligent automation tools Attention to detail combined with an ability to absorb information, highlight potential data quality issues and own to resolution Strong leader and team player with aptitude for data analytics, oversight and controls Good commercial acumen with an understanding of Agent Bank invoice attributes and structures Strong written and verbal communication skills Flexible attitude in dealing with multiple tasks and open to evolving processes Ability to build strong working relationships with business partners in internal LOBs across the firm Effective time management including goal setting, planning, prioritizing, and monitoring Strong communication and engagement skills.
