about the role Design, deploy, manage and support networking and security services in LAN, WAN and Internet network infrastructure. Provide L2 and L3 technical support and consultation for enhancement and change to network and security configuration. Incident Management and Issue tracking for Network/Security Infrastructure. Maintain network and security infra design documentation and prepare operation and management reports. Define processes to manage the network and security infrastructure. Will be responsible to analyze risks in environment & plan to fix them. End-to-end ownership over networking troubleshooting (PC-to-WAN). Produce monthly reports for Incident tracking and Infrastructure health monitoring Supported platforms: Core Switch, routers, firewall, wireless controller access points from Cisco and Fortinet. Supports site-to-site connectivity (MPLS, IPSEC) and monitors/captures performance metrics. Monitor and identify networking performance bottlenecks and traffic utilization. Assist with server/SAN HW configurations (NIC\'s, HBA\'s, Fibre, Ethernet). Will support Project Operation teams during transition on new projects along with complete technical design documentation and Knowledge base creation. Implement and manage Networking tools (SolarWinds, Nagios, Wireshark, etc.) Understand and carry out Hardware & Software refresh/migration. Address all escalations related to the Project environment including management of issues resolution. Design, Implementation and Management of the planned Project IT infrastructure consolidation. Change Management. Customer SLA compliance for Projects. Compliance to ISO 9k, 20k and 27k standards. about you Experience with multiple protocols (TCP/IP, UDP, FTP, OSI, SMTP). Support routing protocols and Cisco frameworks (EIGRP, BGP, OSPF). Experience evaluating state of infrastructure security and recommend improvements. Good knowledge of Network/Security Hardware working and troubleshooting Good knowledge of Network architectures, COS, QoS, VLAN\'s, DMZ. Router and Switch configurations, Layer 2 and 3 optimization and troubleshooting. Firewall configuration and troubleshooting. Understand and carry out Hardware & OS refresh/migration. Good knowledge of Data Security and Incident Management. Vulnerability assessment and fixing vulnerabilities. Conduct failover tests and business continuity drills. Engineer, implement and monitor security measures for the protection of computer systems, networks and information. Experience in identifying and defining Infrastructure security requirements Effective cross group negotiation and conflict management skills.
