Title: Networking Engineer II
Location: Gurugram, India

Responsibilities:
  • Assist in network design and implementation. Implement and manage disaster recovery and backup.
  • Install and configure computer network equipment i.e. Cisco Routers, Cisco IOS Switches and Nexus Switches.
  • Develop and monitor policies for the use of network resources.
  • Evaluate and recommend security improvements and system upgrades.
  • Monitor the network to ensure optimal performance.
  • Test release of products to minimise user impact and ensure compatibility.
  • Create technical support documentation for Network Devices.
  • Provide technical oversight of a multi-site enterprise-level WAN, including planning, implementation/expansion, maintenance, and troubleshooting.
  • Prepare and maintain documentation of network configurations and cabling layouts.
  • Design, deploy, and administer the wireless infrastructure and supporting systems i.e. Cisco Wireless Controllers 2500/4500/5500/9000 Models.
  • Recommend upgrades, patches, and new applications and equipment.
  • Research and recommend approaches for Network administration tasks.
  • Analyze and monitor Network security and implement patches and fixes to address potential security holes.
  • Document incidents, track resolutions, and provide detailed reports to senior team members.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to escalate and resolve complex network problems.
  • Assist in the implementation of network changes and updates under supervision.
  • This job role requires candidates to monitor the network. The team works on a 24x5 basis and on call support during the weekends. Team members are required to work rotational shifts including night shift.

Skills and Qualifications:
  • Bachelor\xe2\x80\x99s degree in computer science, engineering, or other related discipline required.
  • Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in managing networks.
  • Good knowledge of LAN/WAN Protocols i.e. EIGRP, OSPF, BGP, STP, RSTP etc.
  • Good Knowledge and hands-on of SDWAN i.e. Velocloud and Silverpeak and Cisco ISE.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Strong work ethic and ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
  • Willingness to participate in ongoing training and professional development.
