Job Description

We are excited to hire a Network Engineer, at Cerner. As Network Engineer, you will design, support, install, and maintain local area network, wide area network, and wireless network components. You will work on and maintain hardware components, including firewalls, load balancers, routers, switches, and access points. You will troubleshoot network connectivity issues. You will perform project work to update or replace network equipment. You will configure or upgrade network components. You will complete assigned incident management tasks.

Working Environment

Hybrid & Onsite: No Relocation Assistance Offered This position offers a Hybrid & Onsite working environment. Meaning you will split working time between a Cerner office or client site and remote. Qualifications

Basic Qualifications:

• At least 4 years of Total combined related work experience and completed higher education, including:
  • Bachelor’s degree Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, Computer Information Systems, Information Technology, Information Systems.

Preferred Qualifications:

• At least 1 year of Experience with Network management tool like Unified Infrastructure management, SolarWinds Orion, Cisco Prime and CCNA Certification.
• Knowledge in Healthcare Industry is added advantage
