Job Description

The Network team is looking to add a Network and Security Cloud Engineer to our team. This role will assist in the management, support and implementation of our Cloud Service Providers network and security infrastructure. Ideal candidates will have a well-rounded knowledge of network and security design in cloud environments such as AWS and Azure. Responsibilities Responsible for managing and implementing cloud network security platforms including next generation firewalls, web application firewalls, DDoS protection, remote access infrastructure and web proxy solutions. Participate in the evaluation of new security technologies to better improve efficiencies, security posture and meet business objectives. Responsible for implementing and supporting the cloud network infrastructure based on defined standards. Collaborate with team to implement security controls, defenses, and countermeasures to intercept and prevent internal and/or external attacks. Review and implement cloud platform changes to ensure alignment with corporate standard. Has thorough knowledge of infrastructure network and security technology interdependencies. Maintain configuration standards and standard operating procedures associated with network and security solutions. Technical escalation point of contact for network and security technologies. Be able to actively work with team in Cloud Migration activities Required Skills and Experience Technical expertise in the following areas: Next Generation Firewalls Cloud based networking and security technologies, specifically AWS and Azure - Knowledge of AWS CloudWan and Azure Packet decoding and analysis Load balancing Web Proxy Services Associates degree or equivalent desired 4 years experience in a cloud network and security field Demonstrated knowledge of TCP, IPv4/6, Routing Protocols, and related network services (DHCP, DNS) Certification in a major technology area preferred(CCNP, AWS, PA etc.) - Azure Fundamentals AZ900 and/or AWS Cloud Practitioner certifications desirable Skilled in analyzing, monitoring and troubleshooting cloud network and security environments. Demonstrated ability to work under pressure when resolving complex issues with strict deadlines Strong written, communication and presentation skills Ability to communicate and collaborate effectively with the team members and superiors Ability to implement complex projects related to new technology integration Have relevant experience in Cloud Migration projects.
