Experience- 9+ years Notice Period- 0-20 days Max Primary Responsibilities:

• \xc2\xb7 Security Fundamentals: Should be able to understand / Explain concepts (NAT, ACL, Access Groups, IPsec, AAA) & have working knowledge and be able to troubleshoot network Protocols.
• \xc2\xb7 Serve as the functional subject matter expert for the Palo Alto Networks firewall
• \xc2\xb7 Strong hands-on L2 level experience on Network Hardware like Cisco switches, Palo Alto, Fortinet, Cisco ASA.
• \xc2\xb7 Serve as a technical lead for all Palo Alto firewall deployments (such as the cabling and initial configuration of the devices)
• \xc2\xb7 Determine the severity and complexity of issues pertaining to the security and protection of systems data, (either alone or as part of a team) to ensure the protections, conservation, and accountability of proprietary, personal, or privileged electronic data
• \xc2\xb7 Strong practical knowledge of network concepts including DNS, DHCP, VPN, network protocols, port configuration, link aggregation, spanning tree optimization, and performance tuning.
• \xc2\xb7 Strong knowledge of routing protocols, EIGRP, BGP, and OSPF.
• \xc2\xb7 Load Balancers: Troubleshoot hardware and software operation. Strong knowledge of all data flow through the load balancer.
• \xc2\xb7 AWS-specific skills MUST: (Networking: vpc, virtual gateway, Route53, Direct Connect Gateway, transit vpc, transit gateway, lambda, endpoints, load balancers) and (Security: ACM, WAF, Config, CloudWatch, Flow-logs, IAM, ES etc.)
• \xc2\xb7 Security Architecture: Build Cloud Network Architecture to support Encryption of Data at rest and transit
• \xc2\xb7 Apply the most up-to-date code versions for the Palo Alto Firewall sensors
• \xc2\xb7 Collaborate with director, managers, project managers, architects, and other individuals to ensure continuity and communication across teams
• \xc2\xb7 Promote continued integration of technological advances to further enhance security and reduce risks
• \xc2\xb7 Mentor and coach cyber security analysts, providing guidance and expertise in incident/issue response and resolution methodology
• \xc2\xb7 Evaluates and recommends new products, maintains knowledge of emerging technologies from application to enterprise
• \xc2\xb7 Promote the development of innovative approaches and solutions to complex problems and issues

Required Qualifications:

• \xc2\xb7 PCNSE, CCNP R&S, CCNP Security Certification
• \xc2\xb7 4 and 6 years of Strong Enterprise networking with Routing/Switching configuration/diagnostic experience in Global Network infrastructure design delivery of WAN, LAN, Firewall, and F5.
• \xc2\xb7 5+ years of experience installing, monitoring, and maintaining Next Gen firewall (Palo Alto) solutions including policy design and implementation
• \xc2\xb7 3+ years of experience evaluating and designing firewall solutions for technology projects
• \xc2\xb7 Proven work experience as a system security engineer or information security engineer
• \xc2\xb7 Experience on cloud security, Routing & Switching
• \xc2\xb7 Strong planning and problem-solving skills
• \xc2\xb7 Ability to troubleshoot in highly complex, technical situations within a matrixed organization
• \xc2\xb7 Ability to identify and mitigate security issues/incidents
• \xc2\xb7 Ability to document and communicate on an expert level.
