.NET Developer


Primary Responsibilities

Design and develop business functionality in multi tier web solutions while improving code quality and infrastructure.

Build scalable and unit testable solutions for website applications and perform code reviews.

Follow strong security practices coding standards architecture patterns and documentation practices.

Work across all phases of the software development lifecycle including planning design implementation deployment operations and support.

Work within a cross disciplinary Agile team to understand requirements perform product backlog grooming sprint planning execution and retrospectives.

Communicate effectively with associates and business contacts and promote a strong sense of teamwork.

Optimize website speed and performance and enhance SEO.


Knowledge Skills and Abilities

Experience in C# ASP.Net MVC HTML JavaScript and Visual Studio or Visual Studio Code.

Experience with relational databases such as SQL Server MySQL and NoSQL experience is a plus.

Experience with JavaScript frameworks such as ReactJS AngularJS Node.js and jQuery.

Proficient in using built in browser tools such as Chrome Developer Tools.

Practical understanding of data structures algorithms and design patterns in a web environment.

Experience with unit testing frameworks such as MSTest NUnit Cypress Mocha Jasmine and mocking frameworks like Moq.

Experience using BitBucket or Git for source control.

Experience with prototyping and discovery.

Strong collaboration and communication skills with teammates and business partners.

Ability to communicate technical direction and cross team architecture impacts across the organization.
