Position Overview :

We are looking for an accomplished and strategic National Sales Manager to lead our sales efforts across the country for our seeds company. The National Sales Manager will be responsible for developing and executing sales strategies, managing the sales team, and driving revenue growth in alignment with the company\'s goals. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in sales management within the agriculture or seeds industry, exceptional leadership skills, and a proven track record of achieving targets.

Key Responsibilities :

Sales Strategy and Execution:

- Develop and implement a comprehensive sales strategy to expand market presence and achieve revenue targets for the seeds product line.

- Analyze market trends, customer needs, and competitive landscape to identify opportunities and challenges.

- Team Leadership and Management:

- Lead, mentor, and motivate the sales team to meet and exceed sales goals.

- Set clear performance expectations, provide ongoing coaching, and conduct performance evaluations.

- Customer Relationship Management:

- Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers, distributors, and partners.

- Collaborate with the marketing team to enhance customer engagement and provide exceptional customer experiences.

Distribution and Channel Management:

- Develop and manage an effective distribution and channel strategy to ensure product availability across the country.

- Monitor distribution network performance and address any gaps or issues.

Sales Forecasting and Budgeting:

- Prepare and manage the sales budget, including forecasting, monitoring, and reporting on sales performance.

- Work closely with finance and senior management to align sales goals with financial objectives.

- Market Insights and Competitor Analysis:

- Stay updated on industry trends, competitor activities, and customer preferences to adapt sales strategies accordingly.

- Use market insights to inform product development and pricing strategies.

- Cross-Functional Collaboration:

- Collaborate with other departments such as product management, marketing, and supply chain to ensure seamless execution of sales strategies.

- Provide insights to inform product development and marketing efforts.

- Sales Reporting and Analytics:

- Generate regular sales reports and performance dashboards to track progress towards goals.

- Utilize data analytics to identify areas for improvement and optimize sales processes.

Qualifications and Requirements:

- Bachelor\'s degree in Agriculture, Business Administration, or a related field. Master\'s degree is a plus.

- 8+ years of experience in sales management, preferably in the agriculture or seeds industry.

- Proven track record of successfully leading sales teams and achieving revenue targets.

- Strong understanding of agricultural markets, customer needs, and sales dynamics.

- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.

- Strategic thinker with the ability to develop and execute sales strategies.

- Proficiency in sales forecasting, budgeting, and data analysis.

- Familiarity with distribution and channel management.

- Ability to travel as required for customer visits and industry events.
