National Manager Road Logistics

Job Description
To work closely with the stakeholders to strategize, develop, and execute long term plans for further building road logistics business resulting in top- and bottom-line growth for the company in India. The role requires outstanding operational experience and strategic + organizational+ communication + leadership skills and an ability to develop and implement innovative solutions that push boundaries
YOUR ROLE
Your primary objective will be to further develop the product offering and lead your team in collaboration with our global + regional matrix organisation to achieve all defined operational, commercial and financial objectives, working with a variety of internal + external stakeholders. You will develop, oversee + manage business activities to achieve our business goals, to position us as the provider of choice, increasing our market share + exploring untapped territoriesYOUR RESPONSIBILITIES
- To develop new business opportunities, including tender analysis, solution design, + pricing, engaging your sales + operational teams to deliver in accordance with agreed customer service levels + within our financial targets.
- To monitor market trends + competitor activity, identifying opportunities while developing + nurturing our carrier base
- To deliver operational excellence across the business unit, continuously optimizing operations by implementing standard processes + best practices
- To be actively involved in motivating + leading the team across a range of people related activities.
- To liaise with customers, managing feedback in a manner that provides explanations, puts the customer at ease + demonstrates that the right corrective actions are put in place to prevent a reoccurrence.
YOUR SKILLS AND EXPERIENCES
- Pan India transport operations knowledge
- At least 10 years of experience in leadership position
- Proven record of strategic, commercial development and operational implementation of Road Transport operations
