Job Profile:
- Identification, exploration and business development of potential projects.
- Offering a total freight forwarding and logistics handling concepts for major projects, from inception to culmination covering Oil & GAS, power plants, Fertilizer plant, Refineries, pipelines, petrochemical plants etc.
- Project management, implementation of awarded contracts. Monitoring with a hands on approach to gain a successful conclusion from a determined team effort whilst maintaining a
- Flexibility and adaptability for strategic planning to suit individual needs. Development of a partnership between management and clients with a willingness to share ideas and opinions in an open constructed manner.
- Establishment of new Project cargo freight forwarding business especially multi-mode services and custom-tailored made solutions to clients / projects.
- Innovative and out of the box solutions for project cargo deliveries to meet project delivery schedules / timelines / erection / commencement schedule.
- Developing new business models / portfolio port services, warehousing, 3PL / 4PL services and digitalization.
- Project logistics engineering, Sea / River Lo-Lo & Ro-Ro Jetties design , construction etc
- Project cargo handling equipment, marine equipment rentals as per project / client needs on case-to-case basis especially for Oil & Gas, other offshore projects.
Qualifications:
- Good knowledge of all the products in Freight industry
- Market Knowledge (customers, competitors, suppliers, overall environment)
Educational background / Work experience:
- Minimum 7 years of Freight forwarding industry
- Minimum 5 years of experience in people management and leadership, including recruitment, training & development, coaching, conflict and performance management
