You will be part of our Contract Logistics team, adding your leadership expertise + technical skills to the delivery of Customer + Operational Excellence. Your Role You will lead information systems (IS) expertise across projects + operations in conjunction with regional network direction via both direct + indirect reports. You will do this by working with a variety of internal + external stakeholders while focusing on the following key objectives. Your Responsibilities To ensure that only those approved IS applications such as our Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) + Transport Management Systems (TMS), along with visibility + reports are deployed To coordinate the IS input for all request for tender/proposal + ensure a smooth IS Implementation during the customer on-boarding phase. To ensure that IS applications support is in place for existing operations at all times. To support continuous improvement activities + innovation. To ensure IS governance + compliance is in place + adhered to. To ensure that team members are upskilled by ensuring appropriate training activities are in place. Your Skills and Experiences You will own the Customer Engagement Cycle for IS. Your day will be varied as you lead + coach your team to success, ensuring they all know their objectives + are fully empowered to meet them. Start your day by reviewing application performance to ensure transactions are updated in our systems. Consult with your team + ensure we are pursuing customer opportunities with competitive proposals with the right IS solutions in line with our capabilities, supporting to close the new business in line with our commercial policy. During the day, follow up with your team to ensure the smooth functioning of IS applications for on-boarded customer's + that their system requirements are fully delivered. On a regular basis, consult with key stakeholders + customers to review progress, ensuring a focus on continuous improvement activities + compliance with our global standards Finally focus on evolving our people, customers and partners, forming trust + deeper relationships to establish a sustainable business + networks.
