Job Summary We are working on Project Astra, which is NetApp\'s new offering delivering end-to-end application data lifecycle management for cloud native applications hosted on Kubernetes clusters. As a software engineer on our team, you will work as part of a truly innovative, fun and growing team responsible for developing, testing and debugging our management and monitoring solutions. In this role, you will need to be a leader, a visionary, and the voice of the customer. Job Requirements Basic Qualifications: 2+ years of experience in the design and development of system software. 2+ years of programming experience in systems-level programming languages such as Go or C/C++. Experience in scripting languages like Python Experience developing in a Kubernetes and/or Cloud service (AWS/Azure/GCP) environment. Experience with Linux or other Unix-like Operating Experience with GIT, Jenkins, and automated testing frameworks. Experience in Agile Software Development practices. Basic understanding of software concepts related to compute, network, and storage architecture, data structures, and standard programming practices. Strong aptitude for learning new technologies. Preferred Qualifications: . Strong oral and written communication skills are essential. . Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment and demonstrate strong influencing and leadership skills . Strong aptitude for learning new technologies Job Responsibilities: . Engage and participate in design discussions to address problems which are unstructured and undefined . To participate in any and/or all phases of the product development cycle from product definition and design, through implementation and test design . Good team player and willing to up the game for peers and team Education BE/BTech/ME/MTech Degree in Electronics Engineering or Computer Science or equivalent experience is required.
