Summary: What you need to know about the role- As a Software Development Engineer for the Sonsumer Success Platform team, You will build out scalable solutions with effortless experiences in partnership with our product, architecture, and business teams. Your way to impact- This job is intended to support the business needs of Sales & Marketing and customer service that runs on the Salesforce cloud. Your day-to-day- Work with Business Stakeholders, Product Owners, UX designers, Architects, and cross-functional teams to understand the requirements and come up with technical tasks for the team. Should be able to lead a team that is working on multiple modules in parallel. Guide the team members in mapping the business requirements to technical capabilities present in Salesforce. Ability to review and come up with effective designs for complex problems using system design concepts. Take ownership of planning application changes, new release features, performance optimizations, etc. Create and maintain the application standards, coding best practices, involved in code reviews, etc. Integration of Salesforce with multiple internal PayPal applications as well as with third-party applications. What do you need to bring 8+ years of experience in Software engineering with a minimum of 5+ years in Salesforce application development. ME/BE degree in Computer Science or equivalent. Experience in Salesforce CRM with end-to-end implementation experience. Salesforce certification required: Platform Developer 1, Platform Developer 2, Application Architect or System Architect. Work with Business Stakeholders, Product Owners, UX designers, Architects, and cross-functional teams to understand the requirements and come up with technical tasks for the team. Strong knowledge of App Exchange products. Strong knowledge and experience with all the Out of Box capabilities, components, and configurations offered by the Salesforce platform, and implementing new applications on Salesforce from scratch. Strong hands-on coding experience in Apex, Integrations - REST and SOAP, Lightning Web Components, Aura, and JavaScript (ES6 and above) Strong hands-on configuration experience in Flows and Process Builders. Knowledge of asynchronous apexes such as batch classes, schedulers, and queueable Knowledge and experience in setting up CI/CD using tools such as GitHub and Jenkins Should possess excellent problem-solving abilities and debugging skills. Troubleshooting experience with Salesforce - debugging issues with Apex, Lightning components, Flows / Processes, Lightning page performance, SOQL performance, API integrations, and so on. Ability to quickly ramp on new technologies and domains. Experience in integrating Salesforce applications with monitoring and analytics systems like Splunk/CAL and BigQuery. Preferred Skills Experience in at least one of the following clouds - Sales cloud, Service cloud, or Marketing cloud. Good knowledge of Java or any other object-oriented programming language. Prior Experience working in SQL/NoSQL databases, preferably in Oracle. Prior Experience in Reactive JS development, and REST-based service development. Soft Skills Strong verbal and written communication skills. Should be excellent in Stakeholder management. A team player who values collaboration, innovation, and inclusion.
