MS Dynamics Commerce Tester

Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced MS Dynamics Commerce Tester with strong hands-on knowledge in testing implementations, enhancements, and upgrades within Microsoft Dynamics Commerce (D365 Commerce / Retail). The ideal candidate will have deep functional understanding of Commerce modules and solid expertise in QA processes, test automation, and defect lifecycle management.

Key Responsibilities

Perform end-to-end functional, system, integration, and regression testing for MS Dynamics Commerce applications. Validate Commerce modules such as POS, Channel Management, Retail Operations, and Order Fulfillment. Develop detailed test cases, test scenarios, and test scripts based on business requirements. Execute test cycles and track defects using tools such as Azure DevOps or similar. Work closely with developers, Business Analysts, and functional teams to resolve issues and verify fixes. Ensure proper test coverage and maintain traceability matrices. Contribute to test planning, effort estimation, and test data preparation. Validate system performance and user experience across omni-channel commerce processes. Support UAT and post-production validations.

Required Skills & Experience

5-10 years of professional experience in QA/Testing roles. Strong functional testing knowledge in MS Dynamics 365 Commerce (Retail). Experience with POS, Retail Channel Configuration, Inventory management, Pricing, and Payment setups. Hands-on experience using test management and defect tracking tools (Azure DevOps preferred). Good understanding of retail business processes: Sales, Returns, Payments, Loyalty, Order Processing. Ability to analyze requirements and convert them into comprehensive test coverage. Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate in cross-functional teams.

Good to Have

Basic knowledge of MS Dynamics Finance & Operations (F&O) modules. Experience in automation frameworks (Selenium/C# or similar) for Commerce solutions. ISTQB/QA certification.
