Who are we looking for?

Doc Remediator

\xef\x82\xb7 Experience to remediate the documents (PDF, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint) as per 508 and WCAG 2.1 compliance.

\xef\x82\xb7 Should have knowledge of tools like Adobe Acrobat Pro DC, CCA, PAC3 and CommonLook Validator.

\xef\x82\xb7 Should have the knowledge to format the document to update the layout/design to meet the standards.

\xef\x82\xb7 Knowledge of tagging, adding headings, adding page numbers, adding image descriptions, inserting footnotes, inserting tables, adding equations, color contrast, adding correct pagination to thumbnails, apply style tags appropriately to all text, make Table of Contents active, artifact all table border tags, removal/artifact all background graphics, add bookmarks for documents over 9 pages, charts.

\xef\x82\xb7 Use Assistive Technologies, such as screen reader software (NVDA, Talkback and Voiceover), and Accessibility test tools.

\xef\x82\xb7 Correct document properties, initial view settings, correct tab order, \'fast view\' set, custom properties removed, language set.
