Key Responsibilities: The Operations Services Specialist ensures all provided IT services are robust, controlled and delivered effectively and efficiently. This includes monitoring services, preventing, and resolving service failures, fixing problems as well as carrying out operational tasks. The Operation Services Specialist will manage degradations or disruption of services identified and reported by service consumers or by the analysis and reactions to events on the respective service components to quickly re-establish the service to the full extent. The Operations Services Specialist works through service-related requests in accordance with existing service catalogue components. They will manage access requests to enable, revoke or modify privileges based on proper policy standards or direction from CISO. They will provide governance of the services, based on calculated service and capacity availability metrics, to ensure availability is not jeopardized by insufficient capacities because of consumption trends, upcoming campaigns or peak consumptions. This position is required for supporting critical services such as Intune managed autopilot windows devices, Intune managed personal/corporate mobile devices, dbRAS and RSA 2FA, and essential mobile services including MobileIron, dbMAC and other platforms. This role also contributes to the day to day support of over 150,000 mobile end points. A strong technical resource with experience in mobile platforms and demonstrated people management skills is required to drive our strategic vision and to transition to best-in-class future mobile platforms . The successful candidate will have key competencies such as: Intune Endpoint Admin experience Level 2/3 Should have experience in Intune managed autopilot windows devices configurations, issue investigation and overall knowledge of the design capabilities. Be able to lead a team of 5-10 people delivering industry standard mobile and remote access products. A solid understanding of the technologies used to deliver Remote Access platforms, including Windows Desktop and Server OS, UNIX command line, software distribution and patching technologies, VMware ESX, Citrix XenApp and XenDesktop technologies, Juniper RAS and Firewall products, Wyse Device, Intune, Zscaler and cloud technologies. Azure/O365/Google Cloud experience Network / Firewall experience and understanding of key concepts. Working knowledge of LAN, WAN, Data Networks and Server Datacentres Proactive monitoring and remediation of production support issues Assist with the creation of monitoring dashboards. Provide administration support on unix/windows servers. Planning, engineering, deployment and support of monitoring and other automation and testing tools Understand the full project lifecycle and take ownership of project deliverables to ensure successful implementation and integration of configuration changes. Produce FAQs/process improvement recommendations to reduce call volume. Develops automation opportunities to reduce manual support responsibilities. Good understanding of incident and problem management workflow processes Good understanding of monitoring concepts and technologies Excellent communication skills to cater to internal DB clients, End User Computing engineering and incident resolver groups, and external vendor service teams. Experience managing remote teams and external outsourced vendor service delivery. Analysis and Reporting of deployment status to various stakeholders in a presentable form. Operational risk analysis and risk management with various application deployments from stability and user experience perspective Troubleshooting deployment issues (basic level on server and understanding of end user desktop issues with application install/uninstall) Achieving compliance numbers for compliance governed applications Soft skills: Proven record of thoroughness and diligence as any mistake can affect 150,000 end points.
