Hybrid Working

We are currently in the early stages of implementing a hybrid working environment, which means that many colleagues spend part of their working hours at home and part in the office, depending on the nature of the role they are in. We\xe2\x80\x99re flexible on how this works and it may continue to change and evolve. Depending on your team, typically this means that colleagues spend a minimum of between 20% to 60% of their time in the office, which could be over a week, a month or a quarter. However, some colleagues may choose to spend more time in the office over a typical period than their role type requires. We also have a flexible working process where, subject to business needs, all colleagues globally are able to request work patterns to reflect their personal circumstances These requests will be reviewed and agreed for a period of time i.e., will have a start and end date.

Introduction:

The post holder is accountable for providing 3rd line Incident Management, Problem Management and Change Management support for the Mobile Operations Services to the Global Barclays Group Business. This service extends to include all Barclays Employees and selected partners and 3rd parties both onshore and off-shore and includes the following products:-

  • Microsoft Intune
  • Blackberry UEM
  • Corporate Smartphones
  • MobileIron MDM
  • Blackberry Works Collaboration Suite of products
  • O365 Services Mobile products
  • Mobile Device Management products
What will you be doing?
  • To provide 3rd line technical operational BAU support and resolution on all types of incidents relating Mobile Services from a global internal user/customer base.
  • To liaise with other support teams and external suppliers to reach a speedy resolution of incidents and issues.
  • To respond to major Incidents and alerts, including assisting MIM with the resolution of related Incidents. To prevent Incidents from occurring, and to minimize the impact of Incidents that cannot be prevented using Problem Management methodologies.
  • Use own initiative to identify areas where service can be improved and then implement solutions to improve service. Use technical expertise to identify problems with the IT Infrastructure, complete detailed investigations to determine root cause of the problem then find technical solutions and implement fix.
  • To improve service through effective use of Change Management. To produce management information detailing performance against Key Performance Indicators (KPI) underpinned by Critical Success Factors (CSF).
  • To drive forward the continuous improvement of the department by championing change and driving service improvements.
  • To create, manage and implement Change according to relevant Change Control procedures.
  • To lead and put efforts on service enhancement assigned projects, tasks and activities in Mobile MDM infrastructure.
  • To participate in a 24/5 shift based rota, to participate in the weekend on call support rota (24/7). To perform daily checks, ensuring that the infrastructure supported by Mobile Services is performing to agreed service levels.
  • To support the development and training requirements of existing staff & new starters.
What we\xe2\x80\x99re looking for:

At least 8 years\xe2\x80\x99 experience of providing end user support. Hands on experience of producing operational support
  • Knowledge of IT Infrastructure / end user computing, preferably gained within an enterprise scale infrastructure organisation.
  • Experience required in Mobile UEM & MDM Technologies. Specially in Microsoft Intune, Blackberry UEM & Office 365.
  • ITIL v3 Foundation qualification.
  • Experience required of Mobile device management of Smartphones & Tablets (Android / iOS) with understanding of operational usage in a corporate environment.
  • Knowledge and experience of Bring Your Own Device (BYOD) in a large organizational environment.
