This role will be hybrid model including work from office. www.stand8.io We are looking for minimum 4 to 5 years of experience in manual and automation testing both for mobile application testing. This is a hybrid role in Pune so the candidate should be willing to work for 2 days in a week from office. Hence Ideally we need to target people from Pune. We are seeking a skilled and experienced Mobile Application Tester to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in both manual and automation testing of mobile as well as web applications. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality and functionality of our mobile applications across various platforms. You will work closely with the development team to identify and report bugs, verify fixes, and perform regression testing. Additionally, you will have the opportunity to contribute to the automation testing framework and implement test scripts. Responsibilities Conduct manual testing of mobile & Web applications to identify bugs, usability issues, and performance problems. Develop and execute test cases, test scripts, and test scenarios for mobile applications. Collaborate with the development team to understand requirements and clarify issues related to application functionality. Report and track defects using bug tracking systems, and work closely with developers to ensure timely resolution. Perform regression testing to ensure that previously identified defects have been fixed and do not reoccur. Conduct compatibility testing across various mobile platforms, devices, and screen sizes. Design and implement automation test scripts using relevant tools and frameworks. Maintain and enhance the automation testing framework to improve efficiency and reliability. Execute automated test suites and analyze test results to identify failures and issues. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define and improve the mobile testing strategy and processes. Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and best practices in mobile application testing, and recommend improvements to enhance the quality of our applications. Perform data validation and testing to ensure the integrity, accuracy, and completeness of analytics data. Qualifications Bachelor\'s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field. Proven experience as a Mobile Application Tester, with a strong focus on both manual and automation testing. In-depth knowledge of mobile application testing techniques, methodologies, and best practices. Proficient in using mobile testing tools and frameworks, such as Appium, Selenium, Espresso, XCUITest, etc. Hands-on experience with bug tracking systems and test management tools. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to troubleshoot complex issues. Familiarity with Agile/Scrum development methodologies and experience working in an Agile environment. Solid understanding of mobile platforms (iOS, Android) and their respective design guidelines. Experience in developing and maintaining automation frameworks using scripting languages (e.g., Java, Python) is a plus. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams.
