Responsibilities
Design, develop, and maintain complex Excel models, dashboards, and reports
Use advanced Excel functions: VLOOKUP, HLOOKUP, INDEX-MATCH, XLOOKUP, SUMIFS / COUNTIFS / AVERAGEIFS, etc.
Work with Power Query, Power Pivot, and possibly Excel's Data Model
Write VBA macros or automation scripts in Excel to streamline repetitive process
Clean, manipulate, and analyze large data sets, ensuring data accuracy and integrity
Create data visualizations, charts, pivot tables / pivot charts, slicers, etc.
Provide insights from data to support decision making, forecasting, budgeting, etc.
Explain and present findings to non-technical stakeholders in a clear manner
Required Skills & Qualifications
Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel (latest version preferred)
Solid experience with advanced functions listed above
Experience with automation (macros / VBA)
Experience with Power Query / Power Pivot (if required by your business)
Ability to work with large datasets and ensure data integrity
Good attention to detail, problem solving mindset
Strong communication skills; ability to explain technical details to others
Preferred
Certification in Excel (MOS Expert or similar)
Experience in finance, operations, business analytics, or related field
Familiarity with other tools: Power BI, SQL, etc.
