Position: Mines Manager - Iron Ore Odisha

Location: Barbil, Odisha

Grade : M4

Roles & Responsibilities:

Responsible to plan, direct, coordinate and accomplish the production targets of mines and plants. Ensuring optimal accomplishment of OEE. Ensure safe operations with focus on cost reduction and quality enhancement. Benchmark best in class operations and mine planning procedure across mining industries to ensure operational excellence. Work on focused improvement projects with cross functional teams to accomplish excellence. Harmonious and outcome-oriented working with MDO's and internal stakeholders. Responsible for overall Health, Safety & Environment performance of mining operations. Accountable to communicate IMS & VSGS objectives to all concerned and create awareness on their role in achieving the targets in mining operations. To liaison with DGMS to ensure compliance and smooth functioning of mining operations. Carry out all duties and responsibilities as per Metalliferous Mines Regulations Act, 1961. Ensure proper handling and storage of ore and waste at mines

Experiences & Qualification

B.E. in Mining (First class Mines Manager Certification) with more than 12 years of experience will be preferred.
