Mindshare India Overview of job Mindshare is an agency of GroupM, the world\'s largest media investment company and are a part of WPP. In fact, we are responsible for one in every three ads you see globally. We are currently looking for a Director-Strategy to join us. Youshould be proficient in creating integrated media solutions and manage multiple brands. You will also be responsible for handling day to day operations andensure smooth functioning of the team and processes. Collaboration with multiple stakeholders both internally (digital, offline, content+, activation teams) and externally (Client\'s creative agency, PR/ORM agency, digital agency). Opportunity to bring new practices to clients from a data and tech perspective, backed by GroupM\'s stature in identifying and executing such work. Constantly Evolve and Build skill sets with newer 360 tools in the industry and data partners. In this role, your goals will be: In three months: Met all stakeholdersacrossclients identified, including insights, creative agency and interacted with them on an upcoming campaign Got a good understanding of business/brand challenges, pastcampaigns,and competitive media Able to understand agency and client working style and deliver on his day-to-day requirements. Initiated an audit of current strategy work, team output and given a roadmap to team members Independently work on the proprietary tools Updated with media basics and tools across google and FB suite To participate in idea generation sessions In six months: Initiated projects addressing key barriers/ business challenges whether via a campaign or a non-campaign idea. Started becoming a go-to person for internal teams and client teams on strategic questions Ensuring that MS best practices - frameworks, tools,etcare well used as appropriate by internal teams and outputs shown to client Handling internal global Data reporting and requirements Developed a good client relationship. Proactively taking initiatives for sharing additional information with team and client Worked together with WPP partners, to create few visible differences on brands To drive thought leadership on media and marketing issues. In 12 months: Lead the team that works on the annual marketing strategies along with the Client Leadership team and specialist units. Worked on end-to-end award-winning solutions. Creating strategies along with cross teams and seamlessly integrating traditional, digital, on-ground and branded content for brands Keep abreast of media innovations and developments and find links to enrich brand plans. Train and mentor new joinees What your day job looks like at Mindshare: Provide strategic communications & planning leadership on your set of brands. Act as a senior level contact for the client and have a strong understanding of cross channel media strategy. Should be able to lead strategic conversations on Media and communication planning. Support the team that works on the annual marketing strategies along with the -Client Leadership team and specialist units Develop creative ideas and disruptive communication innovations for the client, aligned with their business, customer, and brand goals. Writing entries for media and other awards Drive consumer understanding to draw insights that impact our brand plans. Keep abreast of media innovations and developments and find links to enrich brand plans. What you\'ll bring: Persuasiveness Pro-activeness Communication skills Stake holder management Makes good presentations. Minimum qualifications: Minimum 6-9 Years of experience handling Media and Strategy Experience in handling Internet Ecommerce in top agencies is preferred. Preferred exposure / Understanding of Digital, Data, Research, Strategy/ Analytics MBA - Marketing
