Qualification Diploma in Mechanical Engineering

• Certification in CNC Turning and Milling
• Certification in Mastercam or equivalent

8. Role Production \xe2\x80\x93 CNC precision components 9. Desired Profile Knowledge of CNC Setting, Part programming and Trouble shooting \xe2\x80\x93 Turning and Milling

• Familiarity in 5 Axis Milling will be an added advantage
• Knowledge of Mastercam or equivalent desirable
• Should be willing to relocate to Pondicherry
• Should be willing to work in shifts

10. Study product drawing and coordinate production activities in
Machine shop

• Knowledge of GD & T
• Familiarity with metrology equipments.
• Knowledge of CMM will be an added advantage
• Exposure to surface treatment of components desirable.
• Familiarity in CNC part program for machining \xe2\x80\x93 Manual programming or using Mastercam based on speed and reliability
• Transfer part programs to respective CNC machines.
• Continual improvement to reduce process cycle time and corresponding program amendments
• Ensure process capability of Cpk > 1.33 in all machining operations.
• Ensure production of CNC precision components as per targets
• Participate in Process trials and provide support to Process

Engineering team.

• Maintain 5S in respective work location with a view for continual improvement.
• Should have the ability to manage workforce of Machine shop in 3 shifts
• Assist selection of job specific cutting tools and accessories to improve Quality, Throughput and reduce Cycle time and Cost.
