About the role:

This role leads Finance function for Cardinal Health International India Pvt Ltd (CHII)legal entity and partners with the Site Leader and Managing Director of CHII. The role covers all aspects of finance management for the Global Capability Center including Accounting, FP&A, Tax, Compliance, Audit & Company Secretarial matters.

The role strategically partners with the Site leadership team to drive the right financial discipline and manage the overall budget and spend for the site as well as driving strategic programs around growth and maturity of operations in India.

This role requires minimum 15 years of experience overall in different aspects of Finance with an experience of leading Finance in a similar role within the Global Capability Center (GCC).

What Finance Management contributes to Cardinal Health:
Finance oversees the accounting, tax, financial plans and policies of the organization, establishes and maintains fiscal controls, prepares and interprets financial reports, oversees financial systems and safeguards the organization\'s assets.
Finance Management is responsible for strategic oversight and leadership direction over multiple areas of expertise within the Finance function.

Job Summary:
The Manager, Financial Management leads Corporate Accounting recording, close, consolidation and reporting processes on a monthly, quarterly and fiscal year basis. This job has the primary responsibility for ensuring proper processes, records and controls are in place to ensure accurate and timely financial reporting and disclosures to internal and external parties, and for ensuring appropriate processes and internal controls are maintained across all business units in the organization to enable financial reporting in accordance with generally accepted accounting principles. In addition, this job is required to evaluate complex accounting issues and apply seasoned judgment and independent research, to evaluate conclusions reached by less senior members of the team and to ensure compliance.

Responsibilities

  • Ensures the Company\xe2\x80\x99s monthly accounting and reporting activities are executed timely in accordance with accounting principles.
  • Negotiates with jurisdictional auditors and provides management with recommendations as to settlement and/or evaluations of the merits and potential success possibilities of pursuing tax protests/administrative hearings or litigation.
  • Assesses balance sheet management and indirect taxation.
  • Leads teams and is responsible for capital markets, capital planning, pension management, cash management.
  • Establishes and reviews working capital metrics and related thresholds.
Qualifications
  • 15-17years of experience
  • BA, BS or equivalent experience in related field. Advance Degree preferred.
