THE ROLE:

Mercury Capital Advisors is seeking to hire a full-time Data Analyst in its Gurgaon office to work with the Global Distribution and Project Management teams to assist in maintaining and keeping the CRM and internal data updated for capital raising and advisory mandates.

KEY RESPONSBILITIES AND TASKS:

- Coordinating with team members and clients for data management and reporting

- Responsibilities will include maintaining the firm's CRM (Salesforce) data across several projects to help the team with internal project management and producing weekly client reports & materials

- Understand the CRM function and be responsible for basic in-house customization and data management

- Liaising with team members, distribution bankers, assistants and external vendors (salesforce programmers) to make the CRM more effective and efficient

- Supporting the wider origination team in conducting benchmarking analysis, market research and other materials

- Taking and circulating weekly team meeting and other client meeting notes

EXPERIENCED REQUIRED:

- Masters/Bachelors' Degree from a reputed institute

- 0-2 years of experience in the investment banking or other financial services industry

- Excellent verbal and written communication skills

- Prior knowledge of CRM/Salesforce will be an advantage

- Exceptional Excel, PowerPoint and Word skills

- Self-starter with an intellectual curiosity and exceptional attention to detail

- Strong team player with interpersonal skills as required to interact with personnel across all levels of the firm and fund managers

Compensation and Benefits:

Base salary above or on par with the industry standards; and discretionary annual bonus. The employee shall also be entitled to participate in any benefit plans, leaves, programs and policies that may be made available to similarly situated and designated employees and as per the company policy.
