MEP Engineer : The candidate must possess 5-10 years\xe2\x80\x99 experience in high rise building projects and having adequate hands on practice of: a) Review, validate and value engineering of MEP. b) Testing and commissioning of MEP/ PHE/ FIRE FIGHTING systems. c) Coordination - Acts as a team member to Plan, organize, monitor the activities & ensure timely completion d) Contractor Bill verification, reconciliation of materials as purchased, billed to client and certify for contractor. e) To raise the PR by material forecasting, pursue for order and timely supply, Quality inspection of material and therefore ensure availability of spares as & when needed. f) Responsible for project management and site execution related to all MEP works which includes installation, testing and commissioning activities of Electrical, CCTV, Fire Alarm, Fire Fighting, Plumbing, Access Control System, HVAC, BMS, EPABX / IPBAX etc. g) Prepare schedules, check all schematic and floors, RCP & GFC drawing and maintain reports h) Responsible for ensuring the availability all drawings on time for execution. i) Monitor technical issues with consultant, PMC, design team, contractor & client j) To control and coordinate execution of all works & review test reports & other related documents for desired parameters k) In conjunction with the document controller, ensure that the filing / logging of the MEP documentation is undertaken in line with the project handbook and continually monitor the same. l) Take part in risk workshops and report any risks associated with MEP installations or general project to the Project Manager m) Prepare technical clarifications to the tendered design to suit specific on-site construction and co-ordination issues. n) Undertake prior review of Contractors proposed MEP system testing & commissioning methods and schedule. o) Preparation of MBs, Bills in time for fund flow p) Undertaking technical and feasibility site investigations. q) Developing detailed work programs. r) Assessing the potential risks of specific projects, as well as undertaking risk management in specialist roles. s) Supervising extra, variation, substitute items and putting together proposals t) Managing, supervising and execution of works on site with contractor management. u) Communicating and liaising effectively with colleagues and architects, subcontractors, consultants, co-workers and clients v) Thinking both creatively and logically to resolve design and development problems, trouble shooting w) Managing budgets and other project resources x) Knowledge of using computer-aided design (CAD) and project management.
