Assistant Manager Mechanical, Electrical & Plumbing (MEP)
Projects Division Supply Chain Department ( Greenfield Project Experience is Mandatory )

DESCRIPTION
Job Summary
Responsible for design and execution of MEP services of the project within timelines, & within the budget.
Key Job Responsibilities
Collaborate & Excel

• Manage the day to day work of the MEP team
• To coordinate with design team and ensure timely inputs are given to them in regards to MEP
• To review & assess the inputs, drawings etc received from the design team, engg team etc. and ensure timely release.
• To ensure delivery of equipment is on-time.
• Ensure timely construction & installation of MEP services as per schedule.
• Coordinate with the procurement team and vendors to organize vendors offers, and ensure timely resolution of queries to ensure timely approval release of the Purchase orders.
• To undertake inspection of the mechanical services works and Contractors adherence to the approved drawings and specification, good working practices.
• Review the contractors construction schedule during the progress of site works, and ensure adherence
• Ensure on-site piped system pressure test, air conditioning duct leakage testing and other testing as per the construction schedule
• Ensuring timely disbursement of payments to vendors & service providers.
• Coordinate & follow-up for submission of QAP/Internal Inspection report. Maintain the

database of the reports.

• Review and approve Contractors as built drawings.
• Development of alternative sources of equipment &

vendors.
Compliances
Preparation of data for submission to legal compliances, statutory approvals etc.
Safety First

• Ensure all the safety guidelines are in place & being properly implemented.
• Arrange stage-wise inspection of critical equipment.
• Responsible for adherence of safety guidelines & implementation of works during the construction.

Improvements & Changes in plans

• Highlight any gaps in terms plans vs execution and timely escalation.
• Initiate the process for taking approval for changes in capex.

Overall Documentation

• Ensure adherence to project schedule & update the progress. Prepare report on the progress of the project.
• Document all the technical evaluations, drawings & datasheets, quotations etc.
• Maintain vendor database, update new vendors into the database.
• Ensure to obtain all the post commissioning documentation for the equipment (like maintenance documents, usage instructions, user skills, quality certifications etc) from the vendors & store them in an organised fashion.

Handover

• Ensure timely handover of all the documents to the plant, & receive an acknowledgement for the same.BASIC QUALIFICATION
• Qualification \xe2\x80\x93 B.E / B. Tech in Mechanical/Electrical from a renowned university
• Experience \xe2\x80\x93 Minimum 3 years of experience (preference given to food industry)

PREFERRED QUALIFICATION

• Experience in Mechanical/ Electrical/ HVAC execution of a greenfield project.
• Adaptable, Accountable, Collaborative, Persuasive, & ability to work with teams.

\xe2\x80\xa2 Working knowledge of manufacturing site processes / systems. \xe2\x80\xa2 Demonstrated ability to deliver accurate outcomes while working in tight timeframes.
