Mendix Developer Looking to onboard Mendix developer for on-going projects involving applications and feature development using Mendix. At times may be called upon to lead projects or offer advice and solutions based on best practices. This employee will be a key member of the LCAP/NCAP Center of Excellence focusing on building solutions.
What you will do (Job description) Design and develop effective Mendix applications that meet stakeholder’s requirements Analyze existing business processes and functionality to build or replace with LCAP options Integrate the functionality or application built with other systems using APIs Work with business users on gathering requirements, convert business rules/requirements into application logic Partner with key stakeholders from the product and business teams as well as other software developers to ensure delivery of the right scalable solution Participate in all Sprint ceremonies. Day-to-day responsibilities will include participation in daily standups, user story refinement, and tuning stories into highly functional, highly scalable deliverables using Mendix platform Put together high-quality documentation for design and solution Root-cause analysis on application issues and design resolutions Work with a team or autonomously depending on the needs of the project Fast learner, ability to learn new complex products and processes. Ability to enhance application functionality, resolve issues with a logical, analytical approach Effectively manage time to meet project deadlines
What you should bring (qualifications) 4-6 years of total IT development experience 2-4 years of experience in application development using Mendix Full stack development experience with technologies such as PL/SQL, Python, Java, JavaScript, .Net framework, GIT/SVN Familiarity with Business Process Management tools such as Lombardi Experience in design, develop, and test API’s (REST, JSON, XML) Should be keen and willing to showcase examples of the applications built in Mendix Mendix Rapid Application Developer (RAD) certified Experience customizing and publishing Mendix widgets is an advantage Familiarity with DevOps processes in Azure is desired Working experience in Agile environment and familiarity with Scrum Excellent communication skills both verbal and written Team player that is able to work independently working with US based business teams BE/BTech in Computer Science (or technical equivalent)
