Job Description
Job and Responsiblities
- Properly organizing the records of all the discharged patients.
- Indexing and storing the records of all discharged patients and ensuring that the records are kept confidential.
- Keeping track when the case sheets of the patients are withdrawn and issued and keeping record of the same.
- Maintaining records of all deaths and sending the report to local municipality.
- Keeping record of all Medico legal records as per standards and storing them separately.
- Generating monthly statistics \xe2\x80\x93 total discharged patients, average length of stay, total deaths, deaths under 48 hours, over 48 hours, percentage gross death rate and net death rate, total patients admitted, total patient days of care to patients in hospital, daily average number
- Identifying incomplete records and keeping track of all the wrong entries and reporting it to the management.
- Training the staff on making entries in the patient\xe2\x80\x99s case sheet and ensuring that the same is being followed.
- Such other duties as may be specified from time to time by the management
