Experience : 2 years in data entry, record-keeping, or similar administrative roles.


Qualification: Bachelor\xe2\x80\x99s degree in a medical field (BAMS, BHMS, BDS, D Pharm, Pharm D, B Pharm, Paramedics)

The Medical Intake plays a pivotal role in our organization\xe2\x80\x99s data management process. This position primarily involves data entry, management, and record-keeping related to the assignment of clinicians to patients or cases. The individual in this role ensures the accuracy, completeness, and timely processing of data, contributing to the efficient functioning of our clinical services.

  • Accurately enter patient or case information into the designated database or electronic health record (EHR) system.
Review incoming referrals, forms, or requests and extract relevant information for assignment. Ensure the completeness and accuracy of data to facilitate smooth clinician assignments.

  • Collaborate with the scheduling or clinical services team to assign clinicians to patients or cases based on established criteria.
Maintain up-to-date records of clinician assignments, schedules, and availability. Communicate assignment details to relevant parties within the organization.

  • Maintain a well-organized and up-to-date filing system for patient or case records.
Ensure the confidentiality and security of sensitive patient information in accordance with applicable regulations. Assist in the preparation of reports and documentation related to clinician assignments and intake processes.

  • Conduct regular data audits to identify and rectify errors or inconsistencies.
Implement data quality control measures to enhance accuracy and reliability. Assist in the development and improvement of intake processes and workflows.

  • Collaborate with other departments, such as clinical services, administration, and IT, to streamline data entry and assignment processes.
Communicate effectively with clinicians, team members, and external partners as needed.

  • Stay informed about relevant healthcare regulations, such as HIPAA, and ensure compliance in data handling and record-keeping.

  • Bachelor\xe2\x80\x99s degree in a medical field (BAMS, BHMS, BDS, D Pharm, Pharm D, B Pharm, Paramedics)
  • Proven experience of 2 years in data entry, record-keeping, or similar administrative roles.
  • Proficiency in data entry software and tools (e.g., Microsoft Excel, database software).
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data handling.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills.
  • Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team.
  • Knowledge of healthcare regulations, especially regarding data privacy and security (HIPAA).
  • Adaptability and willingness to learn new systems and processes.
  • Work in night shift (9:30 PM to 6:30 AM) from our Elippode office premises at Thiruvananthapuram.
