As a Media Relations Specialist, you will play a crucial role in managing and enhancing our clients\' media presence, establishing positive relationships with journalists and media outlets, and crafting effective communication strategies. Develop and implement media relations strategies and plans that align with clients\' objectives and target audiences.2. Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with journalists, editors, bloggers, and other media professionals to promote positive coverage of clients\' brand and initiatives.3. Proactively pitch story ideas, press releases, and other media materials to secure media coverage across various channels, including print, online, broadcast, and social media.4. Coordinate and facilitate interviews, press conferences, and media events, ensuring smooth execution and maximum media attendance.5. Monitor and analyze media coverage and industry trends, providing regular reports and recommendations to clients and internal stakeholders.6. Act as a primary point of contact for media inquiries, handling them promptly and effectively, and providing accurate and compelling information.7. Collaborate with internal teams, such as content creators and digital marketers, to align media strategies with broader marketing and PR efforts.8. Stay up-to-date with industry best practices and emerging media trends, incorporating them into strategies and approaches to maximize media exposure for clients.9. Assist in crisis communications, developing key messages and coordinating media responses during challenging situations.10. Mentor and guide junior team members, providing support and sharing your expertise in media relations.Requirements : 1. Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with clients, team members, and external stakeholders2. Proven experience as a Media Relations Specialist in a PR agency or similar environment, with 3 experience.3. Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to craft compelling press releases, pitches, and media materials.4. Strong media network and established relationships with journalists and media professionals.5. Demonstrated ability to secure media coverage across different channels and platforms.6. Proficiency in media monitoring and analytics tools to track and evaluate media coverage.7. Thinker & executor, with the ability to identify opportunities and anticipate potential challenges.8.
