About the internship

Selected intern's day-to-day responsibilities include:
1. Design or modify mechanical engineering layouts/schematics and/or detailed drawings/specifications of
moderate scope under general supervision
2. Perform and document engineering tests
3. Coordinate the procurement and assembly of mechanical components/equipment and identify sources of
critical parts and subsystems to resolve moderately complex technical issues
4. Interact with vendors for manufacturing
5. Troubleshoot a variety of mechanical problems of moderate difficulty under general supervision
6. Implement concepts of moderate product issues and mechanical solutions of moderate difficulty
7. Collaborate with the electronics engineering team to design, implement and test platforms to integrate into a
larger system.
8. Run 3D printers for prototyping
9. Owning the complete product development process from ideation to prototyping
10. Planning and executing mechanical designs using solidworks/fusion360

Additional Information
