Roles & Responsibilities of Engineer for Ostapal Underground Metal Mine:

Should impart duties as described in MMR 1961. Perform regular inspections and preventive maintenance of machinery and equipment. Diagnose and troubleshoot of mechanical failures and implement corrective actions. Prepare and maintain detailed documentation of equipment specifications, maintenance logs, and operational procedures. Generate reports on equipment performance, maintenance activities. Ensure all underground machineries comply with safety regulations as per DGMS standards. Conduct risk assessments and develop safety protocols to prevent accidents and injuries. Stay updated with DGMS standards and regulatory changes to maintain compliance. Work closely with the MDO partner to ensure seamless operations. Provide technical support and training to operators and maintenance personnel. Must have experience of working with govt. statutory bodies to obtain equipment permissions meant for underground operations.

Candidate profile:

* B. Tech in mechanical engineering with 6-7 years of experience working in a highly mechanized underground metal mine.
