Roles & Responsibilities:


  • Cross functional team Interactions (Design-Development, Manufacturing and Supply chain)
  • Assisting the manufacturing and Process team for scale-up of the battery pack production.
  • Liaising with testing agencies for certifications (ICAT, ARAI, etc)
  • Cell tab joining techniques like Bolting, Laser Welding, Spot welding, Wire bonding is required.
  • Different (structural)Welding techniques knowledge.
  • Design and development of cylindrical and Prismatic modules.



Requirements:


  • Experience in different cell chemistry like NMC, LFP, LTO is required.
  • Experience in different form factors like Prismatic and cylindrical
  • Different (structural)Welding techniques knowledge.
  • Design and development of cylindrical and Prismatic modules.
  • Advanced EV Battery Pack Design and Development (pack design, components design) \xe2\x80\x93 HV & LV packs.
  • Strong knowledge in DFMEA, DFM&A, DVP, VA/VE.
  • Knowledge about Indian Automotive Standards (AIS-156, AIS-038, IP Ratings etc.)
  • Standard BOM preparation (Part and Assembly Level)
  • Analysis and cost Optimization.
  • Structural and Thermal management Designing of the battery pack and other auxiliary systems.
  • Strong knowledge of passive and active cooling systems.
  • Cross functional team Interactions (Design-Development, Manufacturing and Supply chain)
  • Assisting the manufacturing and Process team for scale-up of the battery pack production.
  • Liaising with testing agencies for certifications (ICAT, ARAI, etc)
  • Industrial/Mechanical Design experience in ESS Packaging design and EV Powertrain integration (Knowledge on Different types of EV Batteries, Cell Chemistries and Electrical Systems would be an Add-On).
  • Experience in Cell and Battery pack testing.
  • 3 years of battery relevant experience would be preferable.



Qualification:-


  • B.E./ M.E in Mechanical Engineering / Industrial Design / Automobile Engineering.
