Designation :-Mechanical Engineer \xe2\x80\x93 Research & Development :- \xc2\xb7 New product development activity related to LV, MV and Draw out panel enclosures. Work towards the development of products for different makes of switchgears. Interaction with vendor for technical discussion at the time of new development of product. Focus on standardization and do the development activity which has to be aligned to MODUTEC standards. Regular innovative thinking on development of accessories to enclosure without compromising on quality. Daily work on improvement of enclosure Aesthetics and technical feasibility. Always be cost conscious and think thru before developing the new product. Upgradation of assembly manual based on the new development. Always align and work towards company\'s goal and work towards profitable revenue with discipline. Working on process improvement projects. Provide technical support for shop floor teams/ customers for the orders engineered. Required Competencies:-Mechanical Design Engineering knowledge. Knowledge of manufacturing processes and assemblies. Knowledge of Sheetmetal operations, welding and its processes. 3D modelling and designing experience in Solid works and Autocad. Modules: Part, Sheetmetal, Assembly and Drawing. Knowledge on MS office .Knowledge of low voltage switchboard / switchgear design, installation, and use. Knowledge of IEC61439 standards and internal arc panels are added advantage. Ability to interpret basic front elevation, one-line, and schematic drawings. Experience in mechanical design of low/medium voltage switchgear. Ability to train other engineers on Solid works and Autocad Software and MS office. Good in verbal and written communication. Should be able to interact with Electrical Engineers, Customers, Project Managers and Trainers to seek design solutions. Should be team player and be able to work in a multicultural team. Good interpersonal and customer relation skills. Photoshop and Rendering knowledge is an added advantage.
