About Save Eat Foods Private Limited

SaveEat is an app-based platform, India's first food-saving app that enables eateries to promote their food items to a larger wallet-conscious customer segment to mitigate the increasing concern of food surplus in India. While there are many ways to help tackle the issue, SaveEat is India's 1st surplus food management ecosystem that provides an end-to-end solution to market your food items and assures a tummy for each item listed on SaveEat as surplus.

We currently have some restaurants that have already signed up to our ecosystem to kick start the Beta phase and we are also endorsed by mentors & advisors from across the world that include VCs, ex-United Nations & Food & Agriculture Organizations, celebrity chefs, and many more renowned personalities to add value to SaveEat.

About the internship

Selected intern's day-to-day responsibilities include:

1. Work on designing, developing, and testing web applications
2. Build reusable code and libraries for future use
3. Translate user and business needs into functional backend code accurately
4. Mentor a team of junior developers

Requirements:

1. Expertise and experience in the three main technologies - NodeJS, MongoDB, and AngularJS
2. High-quality programming skills
3. Knowledge in application architecture, server management, cross-browser compatibility, responsive design, and website performance
4. Understanding of database architecture design and programming templates, Agile methodologies
5. Expertise and experience in the four main technologies - MongoDB, ExpressJS, AngularJS, and NodeJS.
6. Knowledge of HTML/CSS, jQuery, PHP, Java, Python, OOPS, Symfony, UI/UX design, AWS, Git, design framework, web services, JSON, AJAX, cryptography, and security, frontend CSS frameworks like Bootstrap, etc.
9. Experience in application architecture, server management, cross-browser compatibility, responsive design, and website performance
10. Understanding of DB architecture design and programming templates, Agile methodologies, client-side and server-side procedures
11. Familiarity with package manager-npm
12. Bachelor's degree or equivalent in computer science or equivalent degree
13. Strong organizational, communication, and presentation skills
