Job Description

1. Create the necessary support or assets for the projection of images. 2. Collaborate with the Direction Department in order to determine the matte painting requirements and locations. 3. Create matte paintings for sometimes complex camera-mapping. 4. Ability to produce concept art that conveys the style, lighting and tone of assignment. 5. Ability to create painted environments and landscapes appropriate for the look of the film. 6. Ability to create matte painting studies and color thumbnail paintings in development of a given scene. 7. Needs to be able to paint to match rendered images with precision. 8. Obtain a level of realism based on the art direction of the project. 9. Perform tasks and corrections given by the Supervisor and Director by demonstrating analytical skill and proactivity. 10. Ability to complete paintings within a fast paced, dynamic, deadline driven environment, according to expectations. 11. Along with technical colleague, responsible for troubleshooting the components they\'ve painted. 12. Ability to take Art direction well, to work collaboratively as part of a team. 13. Maintain a good team dynamic. Qualifications: 1. College diploma or equivalent in Visual Effects/3D Animation. 2. Strong knowledge of PHOTOSHOP and FUSION. 3. Good knowledge and ability with perspective, color and value matching. 4. A good understanding of 2D and 3D workflows within a feature film environment. 5. Knowledge of traditional painting and drawing techniques. Job Type: Full-time Salary: 910,000.00 - 915,000.00 per month Benefits:
