About This Opportunity
As a CGI texturing Artist you will have to create 100 PERCENT technically accurate photorealistic textures, you will play a critical role supporting or owning the development of key elements of 3D capabilities in Owned Brand Team 3D. You will lead or participate in assignments within specific departments or areas focused on the modernization of product design, development process, enabling 3D adoption and with external business partners. You will be responsible for executing the approach and accountable for project outcomes that support 3D strategies. Collaborate with product design and development teams to build and visualize assets in 3D, including modeling, model rigging, texturing, UV mapping, lighting, rendering and compositing. Support development and testing of the 3D workflow and pipeline. Collaborate with software development team to develop and test solutions at scale. Maintain 3D standards, assessments. Assess 3D assets and provide technical feedback to internal design teams and business partners. Expand your impact by developing and delivering relevant learning experiences for specific applications of 3D standards, tools and/ or software.

Responsibilities:

Working with your Lead, art teams, and Art director to create high-quality textures & materials
Follow a projects artistic direction set by the Art Director/Lead when creating textures
Adhere to specific texturing pipelines and adapt to constraints, implement and maintain texture and material pipeline
Testing fabric physics with CLO, Browzwear, and traditional lab equipment.
Interfacing with suppliers and Business Partners for 3D texture and material troubleshooting.
Produce all required textures needed for production, which includes tiling textures, texture atlases, and object-based textures.
Strong knowledge to layout the UV tiles (UDIM)
Be proactive and work closely with modelers/lighting/level artists to adapt textures to their needs and constraints
Use good judgment and expertise to optimize the number of textures that are produced and their uses
Prioritize and manage day-to-day tasks to ensure deliverables are completed on time and with production constraints
Prepare and communicate texture planning and material lists based on the requirement, considering existing and new textures
Researching new texture tools and techniques to create more efficient and visually appealing environments

Requirements:

Bachelor's degree or equivalent.
Solid experience with creating high-quality textures and materials apparels and hardline
Solid understanding of PBR rendering, texture, material, and its relation with lighting
Strong artistic sense with an eye for detail, composition, and value/color theory.
Ability to accept feedback, adapt to change, and work under pressure
Must be proactive, team player, and constant learner.
Should have a keen eye for details
Expert knowledge of 3DsMax, Photoshop, VRay
Expert skills in Substance Designer, Substance Painter, Photoshop, and other texturing tools like Quixel
Experience in scripting for 3Ds Max is a plus.
Great with both written and oral communication.
